Adolescent Program (Ages 13-17)

Academic Services

To prevent disruption of academic needs, patients enrolled in our day programs are offered an education component through Silvergate Prep. This service prevents our patients from falling behind in their school work and provides them with academic structure and support. Patients learn in a therapeutic environment while receiving assistance with time management and assignment completion leading to a reduction in stress when they are ready to return to school.

Please note: Service availability varies by location.

Adolescent Program (Ages 13-17)

The GenPsych Adolescent program serves teens ages 13-17 struggling with a variety of mental health symptoms. We assist clients with concerns related to home, school, family, and interpersonal relationships.

After initial assessment we match each adolescent with a treatment track and individual therapist to best meet their unique needs. A psychiatrist completes the treatment team and provides a thorough assessment and medication management as needed.

Using a group modality, we provide a structured and safe environment for an adolescent to learn new skills and process difficult emotions. These groups focus on creative ways to present effective and evidence-based treatment like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP).

At the end of treatment, adolescents leave with an individualized plan that allows for continued growth. Teens will present with improved mood, increased socialization, and new skills to manage intense emotions.

To enroll an adolescent in this program, please call (855) 436-7792 to schedule an initial assessment.

The Levels Of Care We Offer:

Partial Care Programs are full-day programs that participants attend 5 days per week. They are structured programs that include group therapy, individual therapy, and medication management. In addition to the clinical hours, adolescents also attend 2 hours of school instruction daily by State Board Certified teachers.

Intensive Outpatient Programs run two ways. The first program structure offers 2 hours of education and 3 hours of therapy including group, individual, family, and medication monitoring. This program provides care for adolescents who are unable to function successfully in a school environment. The second program structure is a specially designed after-school program that runs for 3 hours, 3 evenings a week. This IOP does not include school instruction time and is good for students who need assistance while attending school.
