The next step to improving your mental health is calling and setting up an intake and allowing GenPsych to guide you through the process. You will be set up to meet with a mental health professional to discuss your needs and concerns and decide on the level of care most appropriate for you. You will then be matched with the appropriate program and a quality therapist that specializes in your specific needs. A psychiatrist completes the treatment team and provides a thorough assessment and medication management as needed.

DBT track

The GenPsych Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) track provides clients with the skills to manage unwanted painful emotions and improve relationships. DBT at GenPsych focuses on kills in four key areas. First, mindfulness focuses on improving an individual’s ability to accept and be present in the current moment. Second, distress tolerance increasing a client’s tolerance of negative or unwanted emotions. Third, emotional regulation skills help to manage and change intense emotions. Fourth and finally, interpersonal effectiveness consists of techniques that allow a person to communicate with others in a way that is healthy, assertive, maintains self-respect, and strengthens relationships.

General Mental Health Track

The General Mental Health track provides a safe, secure, and accepting environment for individuals to explore thoughts and feelings, learn various coping strategies, and process difficult emotions. Our clinicians assist our clients in processing and learning to cope with a variety of symptoms, difficult life transitions, grief, loss, and a host of other life concerns. The Mental Health track engages an eclectic approach of evidence-based treatments designed to provide education, foster personal development, enhance skill learning, and usage with the goal of every client living a healthier happier life.

We accept:

  • Medicare: Our Services covered by Medicare’s home health benefit include intermittent skilled nursing care, therapy, and care provided by a home health aide. Depending on the circumstances, home health care will be covered by either Part A or Part B.
  • All Script Private Insurances: We are also accepting Private Insurances that covers your home health care Services (Skilled or non-Skilled) and Mental Health Care Services. In addition to our delivery of Skilled Home health care Services, we have the advantage of being able to manage your Mental health care needs at the same time right at your home as well. We have primarily been in business for over a decade providing Mental health care.
  • Private Pay: We are accepting Private Pay for Skilled Nursing Care Services, Non-Skilled Nursing Care Services and Mental home health Services.
