Eating Disorder Program
The Eating Disorders Program at GenPsych is a highly effective, research-based program specifically designed to help adults and adolescents suffering from Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, and Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders. Patients are provided with interventions to decrease eating disorder behaviors, normalize eating patterns, and improve coping skills.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy Program
The core skills of DBT are zen mindfulness-based, teaching clients how to increase awareness by noticing thoughts, feelings, and body sensations, and then strengthening attention back to the present moment. Over time, this helps clients cultivate the experience of living life from a place of “wise mind,” or centered intuition, instead of reacting to life through behavioral patterns, emotional impulses, and black-and-white thinking.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a comprehensive and highly structured program designed to provide intensive mental health support for individuals who require more than outpatient care but do not need 24-hour inpatient hospitalization. This program offers 5 1/2 hours of therapeutic care, five days a week, creating a balanced approach to mental health treatment that allows participants to maintain daily routines while receiving focused clinical attention
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a flexible yet highly structured mental health program designed for individuals who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy but do not require the full-time care of a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This program involves 3-hour sessions, three days a week, providing a balanced approach to treatment that accommodates work, school, and family responsibilities.
